Outreach services & programs
The Herr Memorial Library coordinates with
student teachers from
Bucknell University in Lewisburg to offer an outreach program for
children in Amish and Mennonite schools in western Union County.
The presentations, which are given throughout the school year, supplement the children’s science education by offering information and presentations on subjects such as soil science, stream health, and wildlife.
