Mifflinburg library offers summer programs for kids 8-16

Teens and ‘tweens are invited to become members of the “Bugs for Lunch Bunch” programs at the Herr Memorial Library in Mifflinburg.
The programs, one for each age group, will feature movies, games, and crafts and will be held upstairs in the library’s Pennsylvania Room. They are presented as part of the library’s “Catch the Reading Bug” summer reading program.
Tweens, ages 8 to 12, are invited to pack a lunch for meetings on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning July 8 and continuing through Aug. 5.
Teens, ages 13 to 16, are invited to pack a lunch for meetings on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning July 9 and continuing through Aug. 6.
Soft drinks will be provided by the library.
Register to attend so that enough beverages and materials will be available by calling 966-0831 or by visiting the library at 500 Market Street.
Herr Memorial Library is open from 7 to 9 p.m. on Mondays; from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; from 7 to 9 p.m. on Fridays; and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
