Officer Bickhart

Douglas R. Bickhart, Mifflinburg Borough’s Chief of Police, visited two story time sessions at the Herr Memorial Library to talk to children so that they would not be afraid of uniformed policemen, and he also let them sit in his vehicle. They were able to see the flashing lights and hear the vehicle’s siren so that the children would know to associate them with police.
