The Herr Memorial Library in Mifflinburg invites people to take their dogs and cats for a “Vaccination Vacation.”
From 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 19, the Herr Memorial Library, along with Mifflinburg veterinarian Dr. Danielle Ward, will host a “Vaccination Vacation” that features a low-cost rabies clinic.
The family event, which is part of the ongoing summer reading program “Catch the Reading Bug,” will take place at the library, located at the corner of Fifth and Market streets.
The rabies clinic is for cats and dogs only, and all pets must be under control on leashes or in pet carriers and wear muzzles if necessary. Owners are asked to bring each animal’s vaccination history if possible. The cost is $7 per animal.
For more information about the Vaccination Vacation family event, call 966-0831 or visit the library.
During the summer the library is open from 7 to 9 p.m. on Mondays; from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; from 7 to 9 p.m. on Fridays; and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
