Children and their families are invited to attend a free “Insect Odyssey” program at the Herr Memorial Library beginning at 7:15 p.m. on Thurs., Aug. 14. Storyteller/performer Ray Owen will entertain with his "agile ants, lovely ladybugs, and beguiling beetles." The event celebrates completion of the summer reading program “Catch the Reading Bug @ Your Library” and will include songs, stories, and activities. Everyone who would like to go must register to receive an admission ticket.
